There’s something about ’80s nostalgia that just hits differently, so it’s no surprise when a studio decides to give classic characters another shot. The Terminator, Rambo, and other action film favorites have done more than just join Fortnite‘s already impressive roster. They’ve also gone on to star in some impressive games of their own. Whether you were a big fan of the original RoboCop or discovered the character through the remake, Rogue City offers a new opportunity to step into the shoes of this famous cybercop. Because the game is brand new, many players are eager for a cost-effective way to get their hands on the character, raising an important question. Is RoboCop: Rogue City on Game Pass?

Unfortunately, RoboCop: Rogue City is not on Game Pass. That said, the game only recently came out. It’s certainly possible that it could be added to the service later. If you’re looking for good deals on the game, it’s worth keeping in mind that there are a couple of different versions available. In addition to the base game, the Alex Murphy Edition is also an option. It’s currently priced at $59.99 on Steam, compared to $49.99 for the base game. It includes the Alex Murphy Pack DLC. So is the Alex Murphy Edition worth it or are you better off waiting to see if Rogue City makes it to Game Pass later?

The Alex Murphy Edition offers the OCP Shotgun, as well as two cosmetics. They’re RoboCop’s damaged armor from the original film and the Prototype Auto 9. The cosmetics are nice, but they’re far from necessary. As for the OCP Shotgun, the ability to bring a second weapon into each level by default is nice. Still, it’s not the best weapon, and it’s far from pay-to-win. Unless you’re a diehard fan who absolutely has to have a certain cosmetic, you’re better off just getting the base game. Hopefully, RoboCop: Rogue City will make it to Game Pass someday. If nothing else, keep your eyes open for sales during the upcoming holidays.

RoboCop: Rogue City is available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S.
