Many citizens may have had the misfortune of encountering this dangerous rat on the streets. However, that is only a facade, as this agent is a police officer on undercover missions. Jane Doe has a few tricks up her sleeve, with an adaptable build and several partners in ZZZ to join her team when the going gets tough. Wherever this semi-human goes, she is always surrounded by danger, but it’s all about keeping New Eridu safe.
Best W-Engines for Jane Doe Build in Zenless Zone Zero
This undercover agent must and is an expert in adapting to any situation, as her life depends on it. So she can use any weapon, but these are her favorites:
Sharpened Stinger (S-Rank) | Upon activating a Dash Attack, gain 1 stack of Predatory Instinct. Each stack of Predatory Instinct increases the equipper’s Physical DMG by 12% for 10s, stacking up to 3 times. This effect can trigger once every 0.5s and repeated triggers reset the duration. When entering combat or triggering Perfect Dodge, gain 3 stacks of Predatory Instinct. While Predatory Instinct is at maximum stakcs, the equipper’s Anomaly Buildup Rate increases by 40% |
Electro-Lip Gloss (A-Rank) | When there are enemies inflicted with Attribute Anomaly on the field, the equipper’s ATK increases by 10% and they deal an additional 15% more DMG to the target. |
Weeping Gemini (A-Rank) | Whenever a squad member inflicts an Attribute Anomaly on an enemy, the equipper gains a buff that increases Anomaly Proficiency by 30, stacking up to 4 times. This effect expires when the target recovers from Stun or is defeated. The duration of each stack is calculated separately. |
- Sharpened Stinger: This is Jane Doe’s signature W-Engine, although it is the best choice for ZZZ characters with a build focused on Physical Anomaly. It is ideal for Agents who use a lot of Dodge Counters and Dash Attacks.
- Electro-Lip Gloss: The most significant advantage of this W-engine is that you can do more damage to enemies affected by an Anomaly Attribute. However, you need a team that can apply Anomaly consistently, like with Grace or Piper.
- Weeping Gemini: This weapon is also best used in teams where you can apply Anomaly consistently to make a buildup. Also, using this W-engine is ideal when facing enemies with a lot of HP and are challenging to Stun.
Best Discs
Someone who is in all kinds of social circles and knows so many people through her work has also heard many discs, but Jane prefers these:
Fanged Metal | 2-Pieces: Increases Physical DMG by 10%. 4-Pieces: Whenever a squad member inflicts Assault on an enemy, the equipper deals 35% increased damage to the target for 12s. |
Freedom Blues | 2-Pieces: Increases Anomaly Proficiency by 30. 4-Pieces: When an EX Special Attack hits an enemy, reduce the targets Anomaly Buildup RES to equippers attribute by 20% for 8s. This effect does not stack with others of the same attribute. |
Hormone Punk | 2-Pieces: Increases ATK by 10%. 4-Pieces: Upon entering or switching into combat, the equipper has their ATK increased by 25% for 8s. This effect can be triggered once every 20s. |
Best Stats: Anomaly Proficiency, Physical DMG%, Pen Ratio%, and ATK%.
- Fanged Metal: As Jane uses the Physical Attribute, she benefits from using these disks because they improve the Assault DMG and DMG.
- Freedom Blues: With this set, it will be easier to cause Disorder State on enemies, although you will need one of the teams with more Anomaly characters.
- Hormone Punk: Focus on inflicting Assault on enemies rather than using her Anomaly Attribute.
Best Team Comps and Rotation
In ZZZ, Jane Doe has to deal with all kinds of teams, sometimes on the bad guys’ side and sometimes on the good guys, but she knows how to use it to her advantage as with:
Anomaly | Stun |
Jane Doe – DPS Qingyi – Stun Seth / Rina – Support | Jane Doe – DPS Grace – Sub-DPS Seth / Rina – Support |
- Stun our enemy before switching to Jane.
- Build Physical Anomaly until your enemy gets the Asault State.
- This will trigger the Chain Attack; don’t use it.
- Use Dash Attack using the Passion State (use energy from the bar below Jane’s profile picture).
- Use her Ex Special.
- Use her Basic Attack, Salchow Jump, to inflict another Assault on the enemy.
- Use another Ex Special.
- Hit with a Basic Attacks combo for another Assault.
You can use basic Attack combos, Perfect Dodges, or Defensive Assistance to fill the Passion State bar. Once you fill the bar, you can see the Passion State active when Jane has a red glow on her tail and shoes.
Officer Cui (S-Rank) Bites and tears at the target enemy, dealing Physical DMG. This skill can be consecutively triggered, up to 2 times. | Plugboo (S-Rank) Unleashes an EM cannon attack on the enemy, dealing Electric DMG and accumulating Electric Anomaly Buildup. |
Bagboo (A-Rank) Unleashes a series of slashes with dual blades, dealing Physical DMG. | Electroboo (A-Rank) Charges the enemy and continuously electrocutes the target, dealing Electric DMG. |
- Officer Cui: It is the best option when you have more police members in your team.
- Bagboo: It is a more accessible option and offers Physical DMG buffs, which is ideal for Jane or Piper.
- Plugboo / Electroboo: These companions work best if you have several Electro Attribute companions.
Jane Doe is a ZZZ agent with a very flexible kit, and with her build, you can do a lot of Physical DMG and cause a lot of Assault on the enemies, more with the support of her team. Besides that, this undercover police can deal with several enemies simultaneously for its fast attacks and attacks in large areas, so she is a very strong unit for many compositions.
