Jax Taylor is in trouble yet again. The Valley star reportedly hit another vehicle at a stoplight in Los Angeles on Wednesday. However, rather than exchanging insurance information, Taylor hopped in his car and left the scene. Now, his rep is calling the incident a “minor fender bender,” while the other driver involved says they aren’t giving up on having the accident investigated.
Rep for Jax Taylor Acknowledges ‘Minor Fender Bender’
TMZ reported that a woman named Michelle West posted about a hit-and-run incident on the Nextdoor app early Thursday morning. In the post, she stated that her boyfriend was sitting at a stoplight in Valley Village. As he waited for the light to change, another car rammed into the back of his vehicle.
The woman went on to say that her boyfriend chased down the car driven by none other than Jax Taylor. Paparazzi managed to snap a photo of the two men standing outside their vehicles chatting after the accident.
After talking to the other driver for a bit, Taylor hops in his truck and drives off. Apparently, he didn’t exchange any insurance information. The owner of the other vehicle was able to take a photo of Taylor’s license plate before he drove off.
While there wasn’t much damage done to either vehicle, the man who was allegedly rear-ended was instructed to file a report online. It isn’t clear whether or not he’s actually moved forward with filing a police report or not.
A representative for Jax Taylor said, “Jax was involved in what he believed to be a minor fender bender yesterday afternoon when his vehicle bumped into the rear end of the car in front of him while at a red light. The driver immediately stepped out of his vehicle, enraged which caused an unpleasant interaction between both parties.”
They continued, stating, “Jax saw no visible damage to either vehicle and no apparent injuries to either involved, and therefore proceeded to leave the scene. Since this altercation, Jax has filed a claim with his insurance company to investigate further into the details and will follow the recommendations provided by his insurance company.”
Taylor Refuses to Talk About the Incident
Michelle West and her boyfriend aren’t just going to give up though. They are pushing for Jax Taylor to be held accountable for the “minor fender bender” and any damage that it caused.
The Valley star is keeping quiet about the incident. He was spotted on Thursday coming out of a store where he was asked about the fender bender. Taylor refused to answer any questions, hopped on a scooter, and took off, mumbling under his breath.
All of this comes at the end of a tough year for the reality star. Jax Taylor is going through a rather messy public divorce from his ex, Brittany Cartwright. On top of that, he checked himself into a mental health facility and is having financial problems. Honestly, the “minor fender bender” is probably the least of his concerns right now.
