Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie have a long and sensitive history. The two A-list actresses were pitted against one another in the media several years ago when Aniston was married to Brad Pitt. Rumors of Pitt having an affair with Jolie surfaced. Later, when Aniston and Pitt divorced, he quickly moved on with Jolie. However, sources claim that the bad blood between the women hasn’t died down. Unfortunately, they’re allegedly still at each other’s throats.
Sources tell In Touch Weekly that Jennifer Aniston is ready to take Angelina Jolie’s title of being known as a humanitarian. The Friends actress reportedly can’t stand Jolie’s saint-like reputation and wants to show the world her activist side as well.

“It’s always annoyed Jen that Angelina’s got this reputation as some sort of saint when she doesn’t see her that way at all,” the insider dished. “Jen’s convinced Angelina spread rumors about her being just a vapid and self-serving rom-com star.
Over the years, Angelina has been quite dismissive of Jen and her intellect, and that’s always bugged her,” the source continues. “Jen is very passionate about the causes she supports. Obviously, animal welfare is one big one, and politics is another.”
Aniston is reportedly convinced that she can become every bit the activist that Jolie has become. She’s looking to throw her support by Kamala Harris. She’s even gotten into an online beef with Vice-Presidential candidate J.D. Vance.
However, Angelina Jolie allegedly isn’t worried about Jennifer Aniston’s push to snatch her humanitarian title.
“Angelina is aware that Jen is holding these petty grudges and wanting to one up her and thinks it’s lame that she can’t move on. She’s certainly not threatened, never has been, and never will be,” says the source.
Jennifer Aniston and Angelina Jolie doing their part to speak out on issues close to their hearts are likely the reason many of their fans admire them so much. Unfortunately, the two women who embody the spirit of female empowerment in their own ways seemingly won’t be teaming up anytime soon.
