The duo’s characters were best friends, and it’s a trend they’ve carried into their real lives. Although the TV show has been off the air for two decades, Aniston and Cox are still as close as ever. However, all of that could change due to Aniston’s thoughts about Cox’s personal life. Sources suggest that the Murder Mystery star doesn’t approve of her former co-star’s choice in men.

“Jen finds it really odd that Johnny won’t move to L.A. full time to live with Courteney and insists on living in London,” an insider tells In Touch Weekly. “She thinks the whole long-distance thing after all these years is a red flag. She’s always polite to him, but she thinks he ought to be thanking his lucky stars to have landed Courteney.”
Jennifer Aniston may have reservations about Johnny McDaid’s relationship with Courteney Cox because of their history. The couple started dating in 2013 and got engaged one year later. However, in 2015 the actress confirmed that they had called off their wedding.
“We went to this therapist to talk about our boundaries – what we could and couldn’t accept about each other,” Cox previously said about her relationship. “Instead, he just broke up [with me] within the first minute. And I was like, ‘What?’ I was so shocked. I was in so much pain. I also don’t like surprises.”
The duo eventually got back together. However, they haven’t moved forward with any wedding plans. Meanwhile, Jennifer Aniston has a lot of experience with celebrity relationships. She’s gone through two divorces and seems to be looking out for Courteney Cox. However, if she makes her disapproval known, it may cost her her best friend.
