Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck may be looking at a stressful holiday season. The couple known as “Bennifer” are reportedly navigating a bit of a family feud as they attempt to make plans for Christmas. While the pair have seemingly blended their family successfully regarding their children. Sadly, the same can’t be said for their mothers. The duo both have very strong relationships with their mothers. However, the moms allegedly don’t get along very well.
In Touch reports that Affleck and Lopez are hoping to have both of their mothers join their family for Christmas. However, they are worried about having their in-laws together for the holiday. “They both want their moms to fly in and spend time together, but Christine [Affleck] has never really gelled with Lupe [Lopez], so they’ve always been tactfully kept apart,” a source told the outlet.

The insider went on to reveal that Ben Affleck’s mother is “wary” of his marriage to Jennifer Lopez. Meanwhile, there is allegedly some bad blood between the actor’s brother, Casey Affleck, and Lopez as well. JLo reportedly isn’t a fan of her brother-in-law.
“To be fair, Casey isn’t too keen on Jennifer either,” says the insider. “Ben is still trying to sweet-talk her into inviting him. Add Jennifer’s two sisters to the mix, and it’s a recipe for chaos. Jennifer and Ben have this [vision] of the perfect Christmas, with in-laws toasting and hugging. But the reality is far from it.”
In addition to all of the drama with their in-laws, Ben Affleck and Jennifer Lopez are also said to be trying to figure out schedules to have their children at the same time. Affleck shares three children, Violet, Seraphina, and Sam, with his ex-wife Jennifer Garner. Meanwhile, Lopez co-parents her twins, Max and Emme, with her former husband, Marc Anthony.
It appears to be a stressful holiday season for Bennifer. However, it looks like their intentions are good when it comes to sharing Christmas with their blended family.
