The film tells the tale of a gay hairdresser, Luis Molina, who’s imprisoned for 8 years for corrupting a minor in 1980s Argentina. Molina creates a fantasy woman in his mind named Aurora, played by JLo, to escape the horrors of prison.
“I’ve been waiting my whole life to be able to do a real big MGM Hollywood musical, and I finally got to do it,” Lopez gushes. When discussing her latest project, Jennifer Lopez said the “important” film serves as a powerful reminder to audiences “that love heals all divides.”
