Jennifer Lopez is downing the drinks as she keeps busy on Instagram in the wake of her divorce news. The singer, 55, had still not made a public statement following filing for divorce from husband Ben Affleck last month, but she isn’t hiding under the blankets.
Posting a video to her feed last night, JLo got busy sipping margaritas as she promoted her Delola cocktails brand, going for a lip sync vibe and whispering that she was in the mood for “a margarita.” Looking her usual stylish self, the “Jenny From The Block” star rocked a silky green blouse, upping the ante a little by going unbuttoned as she showed off her business brains. Fans, who are likely gasping to comment regarding JLo’s fourth marriage ending, can’t — the mom of two has comments to her Instagram limited.
Jennifer Lopez Busy Drinking On Instagram Amid Divorce
Sitting indoors at a table and with a bottle of her Delola Margarita, JLo responded to a voice asking her what she be “getting” for her “birthday.”
Smiling and playing all innocent as she swathed her curves in her chic shirt, Jennifer poured herself a glass of Delola before replying: “A margarita.” Here, the star kind of batted her eyelids as she smiled.
Wearing her highlighted locks down as she stuck to her signature hoop earring finish, JLo also wore bangles and rings as she kept glam with a full face of makeup, but she definitely wasn’t wearing her wedding ring. In late August, Lopez filed for divorce without a lawyer, also making headlines for not having signed a prenup. She and Batman star Ben married in July 2022.
Says She’s ‘Unbothered’ Amid Divorce
Shortly after the divorce bombshell, JLo updated her Instagram with a gallery of summery photos. Telling fans that “everything is unfolding in divine order,” the pop star also shared a photo of a logo tee quoting poet R.H. Sin.
“She’s in bloom and unbothered out of reach and at peace,” the tee read. The former couple had dominated summer celebrity headlines on account of their estranged nature, with July seeing JLo jet out to Italy minus her husband. The two also spent the Fourth of July apart.
“Ben began moving his things out of their shared home while Jennifer was in New York in April, effectively blindsiding her,” a source dished. Ben has since purchased a $20.5 million bachelor pad, although he and Jen have yet to sell the $68 million mansion they once shared.
Jennifer remains active on Instagram, largely promoting her Delola and JLo Beauty brands. She’s also been sharing sweet moments with twins Max and Emme, shared with ex-husband Marc Anthony.
