Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck’s Divorce Inspires Singer to Make A Major Life Change
Since Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck initiated their divorce in August, the stars have been determined to show the world they’ve been doing just fine. Apart from spending time with their families, Lopez and Affleck have been diving back into work. Now, the 55-year-old pop star has taken things up a notch with post-divorce surgery.
“JLo is doing what millions of other divorcees do – getting a glow-up after their splits,” a source told RadarOnline.com. “But she has millions at her disposal, and is determined to look better than ever – so Ben will see what he is missing.”
After putting off eye surgery for years, Jennifer Lopez finally got the procedure. It took so long for her to make the appointment because she had been so focused on her marriage. Since she was putting all her time and effort into her relationship, Lopez felt like the surgery wasn’t a priority. However, that’s all changed since her Ben Affleck divorce began.
“Jen wanted to ditch the glasses and contacts, aiming for a fresh start and a new outlook on life,” an insider said. “She decided it was time to do something just for herself, and what better way to kick off this new phase than by literally seeing the world more clearly?”
A close friend of Lopez revealed she’s been in such a great mood since getting the life-changing surgery. “She’s loving her new 20/20 vision,” they said. The source added that they hope Lopez’s “new eyes” will help her find a new man.
Jennifer Lopez and Ben Affleck were married for two years before the singer filed for divorce on Aug. 20.
