Hollywood star Jessica Alba, 43, and film producer Cash Warren, 45, are reportedly heading for a divorce after nearly 17 years of marriage. Rumors began swirling when the award-winning actress was spotted out in public sans her wedding ring, which occurred most recently during the Golden Globes pre-party in Los Angeles last Sunday night. According to TMZ, the duo have already separated and are currently on the cusp of filing for divorce.
While news of their divorce is a shock for many, there have been signs of a potential split in the cards for a while now. In an interview with Katherine Schwarzenegger Pratt back in April 2024 on her BDA Baby podcast, Alba got candid about her relationship with Warren, sharing: “It’s all rosy for two and a half years. But then after that, you become roommates.” Continuing on, Alba explained: “It’s just, like, you’re roommates. You’re just going through the motions. It’s the responsibility. It’s a lot of, like, checking the boxes.”
Reportedly, despite their marriage being on the rocks, the couple are still on amicable terms. In fact, a source close to People, divulged that they “are still friends and all about the kids.” and that “No matter what’s going on right now, it seems they will remain close. If they’re filing for divorce, it’s not because of some hateful drama. They still look happy together.” Furthermore, the source detailed how “Jess has mentioned over the years though that it’s hard to keep the spark.”
The former-couple first met on the set of Fantastic Four back in 2004, where Alba portrayed superhero Invisible Woman, and Warren served as the film director’s assistant. They married four years later and share three children together: daughters Honor, 16, and Haven, 13, and son Hayes, 7. Alba is currently busy filming the upcoming biopic Maserati: The Brothers, which is based on the lives of the famous car family. She’ll co-star in it with Anthony Hopkins and Michele Morrone, and it’s slated for a Netflix release later this year.
