Jessica Simpson made winter 2023 headlines for impressing her Instagram followers with a new swimwear snap, but it was long before the 2020s that the 43-year-old showed off her figure in a bathing suit and dropped a snappy caption about how modeling swimwear requires “proud” posing.
Gaining over 23,000 fan likes for her 2014 share, one that’s still live, Jessica showed off her figure before dropping 100 pounds in 2019, although her figure was extremely slender as she highlighted the silhouette she had before becoming pregnant with third baby Birdie Mae in 2018.
Jessica Simpson Exudes Confidence In Instagram Photo
Posing from a patio terrace with a fancy white pillar and backed by picket white fencing, Jessica highlighted her shredded legs and slim waist in a patterned, multicolor swimsuit with stomach cut-outs.
Peeing her rock-hard abs, the Jessica Simpson Style founder used a golf club as a prop, leaning on it a little as she also added height to her frame via caramel-colored shores with a platform heel. Possibly going makeup-free as she ditched the glam, Simpson sported her light locks down and slightly messy, going for a pared-down finish despite her confident pose.
Jokes About Posing ‘Proudly’
In a caption, Jessica wrote: “If I’m in a bathing suit I should pose proudly.” Click here for the photo, and scroll for more snaps.
“Keep posing loud and proud,” one fan replied. “AND it’s cause they hate themselves and have nothing better to do,” another replied. Jessica also caught a like from country singer and fellow clothing designer, Jessie James Decker.
2023 was tough for Jessica as fans trolled and shamed her, regardless of her appearance. Fans have, in the past, deemed the star too heavy. Now, they’re calling her too skinny while also sending cruel messages about her plump lips.
In 2022, Simpson took to Instagram to address the level of trolling she’d been subjected to.
“As much as I have learned to block out destructive noise…peoples’ comments and judgments can still hurt deeply with their incessant nagging ‘you will never be good enough,'” she wrote, then marking five years of sobriety as she continued: “The most important thing I have learned through the last 5yrs without alcohol being a guard for escapism, is that I CAN and ALWAYS WILL get through it.”
