Jessica Simpson was given a tough time by her Instagram fans for posting sunkissed snaps from her recent Spring Break vacation to Mexico. Sharing photos of herself and her family at the start of the week, the 43-year-old actress and singer opened with a big smile before sharing shots that included kids Maxwell, Ace, and Birdie Mae, but her followers only seemed to care about her appearance.
Simpson spent much of 2023 and early 2024 seeing fans comment on her weight and her face. Some deem the fashion designer too skinny following her 100-pound weight loss. Others allege that she’s had work done on her face. In these photos, one fan called Jessica “concerning,” with many others agreeing.

Smiling for a selfie as she wore her blonde locks down, Jessica opened her gallery in a tiny orange bathing suit as she showed off a very plump pout. Here, the Dukes of Hazzard star wore plenty of bronzer over a dark shade of foundation, with the photo showing an indoor, wood-beamed space opening up onto an ocean-view terrace with parasols.
Further photos included poolside fun in the sun with husband Eric Johnson joining eldest daughter Maxwell, plus a boat day that included the whole family. “2024 Spring Breakin’ with the fam was EPIC! Thank you @tinasimpsonofficial for giving these kiddos memorable moments in Cabo that they will hold close to their precious hearts and cherish for a lifetime!” Jessica wrote.
Fans Voice Worry, Say She Doesn’t Look The Same
The comments section has exploded.
“Who else came straight to the comments?” one fan said, with over 2,000 others liking the reply. “She’s always been so gorgeous so why do this to herself?” another wrote. Fans have recently been commenting that Jessica is starting to look like a Kardashian. The star also finds herself constantly under fire for alleged filler and Botox use.
“I’m a fan but this picture is concerning,” a further user said. Fortunately, Jessica did receive plenty of backup, including love from socialite Paris Hilton, who left a heart-eye emoji.
Also joining in the mass sentiment was a fan stating: “No disrespect, but I love and admire the old Jessica face. She was all-natural beauty. I use to buy all her clothing & shoe line I wanted to be so much like the OLD Jessica.”
Jessica has not responded to any of the comments. Despite the backlash, her post did gain over 100,000 likes.
