Country singer Jimmie Allen has sold his Nashville home for a whopping $1.75 million. The news comes only five months after the star put the property up for sale on the market. The sale of Allen’s home is quite the good news, given the difficulties he has been through this year. Recall that earlier this year, an unidentified woman filed a lawsuit, accusing Allen of repeated sexual assault. Thankfully, the Jimmie Allen rape allegations weren’t enough to prevent the star from reconciling with his wife. After admitting to cheating on her and publicly apologizing, the couple are reportedly back together.
Jimmie Allen Sells His Nashville Home
Jimmie Allen’s Nashville home is off the market! The 38-year-old purchased the property for $1.5 million in 2020, but in June 2023, Allen put the property on the market for $3 million. However, a week later, the country star slashed the price to $2.5 million. Now, TMZ has reported that Allen has finally sold the mansion in Brentwood for $1.75 million. The modern farmhouse-inspired home sits on 1.5 acres of land and features five bedrooms and five bathrooms. It also boasts expansive oversized windows and a walk-in closet in the master bedroom. Although Allen’s gain from the house is only $250,000, it looks like a fresh start for the Make Me Want To singer.
Inside Allen’s Rape Allegations and Marital Troubles
The sale of Jimmie Allen’s Nashville home comes amid the rape allegations the musician is facing. In May 2023, a woman who identifies herself as Jane Doe filed a lawsuit accusing Allen of rape, sexual assault, and harassment. She claimed it lasted for over 18 months when she worked directly with the singer. Jane Doe alleged that she and Allen met in May 2022 on a flight to Nashville and started messaging each other for the next few months. Eventually, the duo met at Sin City hotel, where the woman claimed Allen raped her and secretly recorded the encounter.
Allen denied the allegations in a countersuit, claiming that their encounter was consensual. He also said the woman agreed to him setting up the camera to record their romp. Besides the Jane Doe issue, Allen is also countersuing his former manager, who accused him of sexual abuse. Amid Jimmie Allen’s rape allegations, things are seemingly going well between the singer and his wife, Alexis. Recall that in April 2023, the couple announced their split, citing irreconcilable differences. The following month, Allen openly admitted to having an affair with his former manager and tendered a public apology to Alexis. Now, it seems Alexis is choosing forgiveness, as the pair are reportedly back together. Hopefully, they walk through this difficult phase together successfully.
