Jimmy Kimmel continues to unleash on those who voted for Donald Trump, and his latest subject is Elon Musk. The comedian wasted no time dragging the tech mogul after his monologue about Trump’s re-election rubbed Musk the wrong way.
Following Trump’s victory, Kimmel, on his show, branded Tuesday’s elections a “terrible night” while fighting back tears. It didn’t take long for his emotional anti-Trump monologue to go viral, catching the attention of Musk. It is no news that the Tesla CEO was instrumental in helping the convicted republican candidate re-enter the White House. Hence, it came as no surprise when the billionaire felt offended and called the late-night talk show host “an insufferable nonsense propaganda puppet.” Unfortunately, Musk’s insult only did more to fire up Kimmel, who responded to the shade on his show.
“Last night, I shared some of my thoughts and feelings about what happened and how much I’m gonna miss democracy,“ he began. “I heard from a lot of people about it, but none more prominent than the richest man in the world, Elon Musk.“ Putting his comedic abilities to use, Kimmel threw the first jab, referencing Musk’s strained relationship with his transgender daughter, Vivian Wilson. “At least my children like me,” he quipped. Kimmel continued, slamming the SpaceX founder for his daily $1 million giveaway and the audacity to label him a “propaganda puppet.”
“Listen, Kermit, you bought Twitter, you bought a social media platform that is literally a propaganda machine.”
Backing his words, the 56-year-old then unveiled proof, sharing screenshots of times when Musk has called “everything” propaganda on X.
Jimmy Kimmel Jokes About Elon Musk & Donald Trump Having A Sexual Relationship
Kimmel further intensified his roast, recalling an old post that Trump shared after Musk visited the White House in July 2022. On his Truth Social, the president-elect said the tech billionaire told him “how he was a big Trump fan and Republican.” Trump also noted that he could tell Musk, “Drop to your knees and beg,“ and he would have done it.
“You know what he means by beg,“ Kimmel joked about the post, adding, “I’m sure his little hand will fit nicely in your sock hole.” Although it has been days since Kimmel roasted Musk, the 53-year-old has yet to respond. He, however, had something to say about Saturday Night Live‘s portrayal of him.
In the sketch variety show’s first episode after Trump’s victory, comedian Dana Carvey impersonated Musk while clad in an all-black ensemble. “Check it out – dark MAGA – but seriously, I run the country now. America’s gonna be like one of my rockets,” Carvey said while mimicking the entrepreneur. On X, the father-of-twelve blasted the show, writing, “SNL has been dying slowly for years, as they become increasingly out of touch with reality.”
Elon Musk is never one to take a roast without firing back. However, his silence towards Kimmel could mean he has been dealt a knockout blow by the comedian.
