Their reunion has reignited conversations about their relationship after they denied cheating while filming Celebrity Big Brother together earlier this year.

In his latest Snapchat post, JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes are seen cuddling together on a couch in what appears to be a hotel lobby. The English TV personality is wearing a plain gray t-shirt and matching shorts while looking up at a smiling Siwa, who’s also dressed casually in a varsity jacket and red pair of shorts. “Finally reunited,” Hugh captioned the picture.
Hughes appeared to fly to Mexico to ring in Siwa’s 22nd birthday with her. Although it’s not until Monday, the singer already celebrated by performing at the Tecate Emblema Festival in Mexico City this weekend. The event took place on Friday, May 16, and Saturday, May 17. Siwa performed on the second day alongside headliners Alanis Morissette, Pitbull, and Will Smith. Other performers included James Bay, Maria Jose, and Oliver Tree.
Siwa appeared to have a lot of fun on stage. Following her set, the Dance Moms star shared a series of photos from her performance on Instagram. “The crowd was UNREAL, you all were so amazing,” she wrote. Siwa may have even gone a little overboard. She revealed on her Instagram Story that she woke up feeling like her throat has been through a “blender.” It’s not the best way to spend her “last day of being 21.” However, it seems having Chris Hughes around has made things a bit better.
The Celebrity Big Brother Drama
JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes’ reunion comes nearly a month after the finale of Celebrity Big Brother aired on April 25. The two had gotten close while competing on the show over the course of several weeks. Some fans had even speculated they had developed romantic feelings for each other. Since Siwa was dating someone else at the time, she was accused of emotionally cheating on her partner with Hughes.
The day after the finale, Siwa’s then-partner, Kath Ebbs, revealed on TikTok that the “Karma” singer had ended their relationship. Apparently, Siwa broke up with Ebbs during a wrap party for Celebrity Big Brother. The news didn’t help the cheating accusations between Siwa and Hughes.
Despite the rumors, Siwa and Hughes insisted they were just friends during filming. In an interview with This Morning, they said their relationship was purely “platonic,” but Siwa did hint that could change in the future. When asked if she wanted something more with Hughes, Siwa said that “anything” could happen.
Now that JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes have reunited in Mexico, some people think they may have decided to give dating a try. However, since she just broke up with Ebbs, fans are criticizing Siwa for flaunting her relationship with Hughes when her ex is likely still hurting. “The way this all went down is weird,” one person commented. “JoJo is literally on top of him honestly she has no shame whatsoever,” another wrote.
