Jojo Siwa is making it clear she has thick skin impenetrable to even the most savage TikTok trolling. Last week, the 20-year-old shared a video of herself asking fans who they’d call if given a choice to make one “unserious heaven phone call.” She filmed the video from her kitchen, clad in black tank top and biker shorts while sipping a canned drink. While most fans easily indulged Jojo Siwa’s fun question, others focused on her hairstyle, which seemingly gave her an unrecognizable appearance.
Jojo Siwa’s Hairstyle Raises Brows on TikTok
In the video, Jojo had her blonde locks braided halfway down, in the middle of her head, resembling a mullet. While the hairstyle conformed to her usual crazy hair looks, fans quickly pointed out that it made her unrecognizable. Many TikTok users compared Jojo Siwa’s appearance in the new hairstyle to the likes of Dog the Bounty Hunter (Duane Chapman), Joe Dirt (played by David Spade), Kid Rock, Joe Exotic, Riff Raff, and Billy Ray Cyrus. One TikTok user wrote,
“Telling my Kid this is Joe Dirt.”
Another wrote,
“Thought this was Dog the bounty Hunter.”
A third comment read,
“What in the Kid Rock is going on here?”
A fourth read,
“That one drunk guy at the party.”
Fans also described Jojo Siwa’s appearance as a telltale sign of her obsession with Chrishell Stause’s wife, G-Flip who rocks a similar hairstyle. One wrote,
“The obsession with G-Flip is insane.”
Jojo Hits Back at Trolls Amid Comparison
One TikTok comment likening Jojo Siwa’s appearance to Miley Cyrus’s dad Billy Ray Cyrus snagged over a hundred thousand likes, ultimately catching the singer’s attention. Creating a new video in response, the 20-year-old clapped back at her critics, expressing bewilderment that someone thought it an insult. Reacting to the comment, “Telling my kids this is Billy Ray Cyrus,” Jojo voiced,
“The fact that this has a hundred thousand likes. But also that someone thinks it’s an insult. Hommie that would mean that I’m Miley Cyrus’ dad. I’ll take it.”
Jojo Siwa has frequented news headlines in recent times for her controversial appearance. Last month, the So You Think You Can Dance judge made the explosive revelation that she was already looking into having kids of her own. Speaking to Access Hollywood, the 20-year-old admitted she already had the names of her future kids tattooed on her body, and even had a sperm donor lined up. The revelation has since sparked wild reactions, from concern to amusement.
