Oscar-winner Jordan Peele brings us Nope, another terrifying reimagining of the modern horror movie in the form of a summer blockbuster. Written and directed by Jordan Peele, Nope is Peele’s third feature film after hits Get Out and Us. Universal Pictures Youtube channel released a slew of videos for Nope yesterday, June 8th, not showing us much more than we already knew about the film. But finally, today, we got to learn just a bit more about this upcoming horror as the final official trailer for Nope was released earlier this morning. You can watch Nope’s final trailer here.

As stated earlier, Universal Pictures released Nope content on their page yesterday. The three videos included another trailer, ‘A Cinematic Event,’ that mimicked the first trailer, titled two mini trailers. The mini trailers ‘Hell No’ย  is a little more comedic, andย  ‘Rainbow’ is just the opposite. If you watch Rainbow, you hear a creepy version of “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” eerily playing over terrifying shots.

Nope’s cast reunites Oscar winner Daniel Kaluuya(Judas and the Black Messiah) with Jordan Peele as the two famously worked on Get Out. The cast of Nope also includes Keke Palmer(Alice) and veteran of The Walking Dead, Oscar nominee Steven Yeun(Okja). Also starring in Nope is Michael Wincott, Barbie Ferreira, Brandon Perea,ย Keith David, Donna Mills, and Andrew Patrick Ralston. Nope is also co-produced by Jordan Peele and Ian Cooper (Us, Candyman) for Monkeypaw Productions, with Robert Graf as executive producer.

What’s New About the Final Nope Trailer

The first trailer for Jordan Peele’s Nope was released by Universal Pictures on February 13th, 2022. In the Youtube video’s description was the quote from Daniel Kaluuya’s character, “What’s a bad miracle?” According to the film’s description on Youtube, the cast stars “as residents in a lonely gulch of inland California who bear witness to an uncanny and chilling discovery.” Since the release of Jordan Peele’s final trailer for Nope, we’ve learned a bit more about the plot and how extraterrestrials are involved. SPOILER ALERT, as UFOs and aliens hover over their property, Palmer and Kaluuya’s characters hatch a scheme to capture and sell the first authentic footage of UFOs.

You can catch Nope only in theaters on July 22nd, 2022.
