While on a solo vacation in Italy to celebrate her 51st birthday, Modern Family star Sofia Vergara was spotted without her wedding ring. Rumors sparked that she and her husband, Joe Manganiello, had broken up. On Monday, the pair confirmed that they had “made the difficult decision to divorce” after seven years of marriage, according to Page Six. A source close to the couple claimed that they had been “growing apart for a while now.”

However, divorcee or not, Sofia Vergara seems determined to make the most of her Italian vacation. Her latest Instagram photos show her winning and dining with some close friends on the island of Ravello, Italy. On one occasion, Vergara is seen enjoying a sparkling cake while being serenaded by restaurant staff in the glamorous birthday celebration most people can only dream of. Other posts include shots of Vergara and her friends on a boat along the Amalfi Coast or sightseeing among the picturesque statues of Capri.
In one particular post, Sofia Vergara posted pics of herself soaking up the sun in a striking blue and black leopard-print thong one-piece with the caption, “Last days of vacay! Even when u r so hot I love u Ravello!!!😁😁” Almost all of the comments on the post are filled with adoration for either Vergara’s outfit or the star herself, but chief among them is Julie Bowen’s comment which reads: “This is what single and 🔥 looks like!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️”
Julie Bowen and Sofia Vergara starred together on Modern Family between 2009 and 2020. The show’s run, which lasted over a decade, created a strong friendship between the two that seems to hold strong in the face of Vergara’s divorce. However, Julie Bowen isn’t the only one of Sofia Vergara’s co-stars to be turning up in support. Howie Mandel and Heidi Klum, who co-hosted America’s Got Talent with Vergara, also show their love. On a closeup shot of Vergara at an outdoor dining table, Klum commented, “Hi beautiful 😻” while Mandel commented, “Everything is like Ravello” on a video Vergara shared of herself looking out over a balcony.
