The new Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom Creatures trailer was released yesterday with already 50k views on YouTube. The film is set to come to theatres on June 22, 2018.
The trailer seems to highlight the number of creatures that have escaped the Jurassic Park island and are now entering the modern day world. The trailer also hints at a bidding system where humans are buying some of the dinosaurs which were captured.
The amount of dinosaurs shows clearly in this trailer, as there are more dinosaurs in this film than the other Jurassic Park films combined. The most impressive scene from this trailer is the dinosaur in the ocean. The slowness of the clip really amplifies how big and scary it would be if the dinosaurs escaped and entered the modern world, especially when he clamps his jaw around the body server.
J.A Bayona, Director says:
“There were scence where we had so many dinosaurs in the same frame that we had to make the frame bigger. And we are going to steal the dinosaurs again that we all loved so much from the first movie.”
The amount of practical effect in the movie seems to be more than most films have in the modern day. They seem to use the practical effect to get the actors interacting with the dinosaurs more for a better image on the screen. It is still clear that many animations are still used to get more realistic movement.
