Hailey Bieber appears to have responded to her dad, attending church with Justin Bieber barely a day after Stephen Baldwin asked fans to pray for her. On Monday, the model’s dad reposted a video asking the public to remember Hailey and Justin in prayers. The post also included a cryptic writeup about “special challenges,” “spiritual warfare” and ship-wrecked marriages. Evangelist Victor Marx, who initially shared the post was very specific in the prayer requests, pinpointing “wisdom, protection, and drawing close to the Lord” as areas to focus on in praying for the couple.

While the story behind the post remains a mystery, Hailey and Justin Bieber are responding in their not-so-subtle way. The couple stepped out together barely hours after the post to attend a late-night church service in the heart of Beverly Hills. Photos from their Wednesday outing saw Hailey and Justin Bieber walk hand in hand as they arrived at the Churchome Church at Seban Theatre, Beverly Hills, California. They both had somber expressions, perhaps in reverence to the place of worship.
Deviating from her usual revealing red carpet glam or runway look, Hailey Bieber opted for a baggy sweatshirt over baggy denim pants. She paired it with a black shoulder bag and yellow-tinted glasses, strolling beside her husband. Justin stuck to his usual skate-chic style with a black hoodie and baggy khaki pants, covering the better part of his face with a black muffler. The two arrived at the church in a $90,000 Tesla Cybertruck.
A Call Back to Christianity
Their latest church attendance is widely seen as a response to Haley Bieber’s dad’s post, and the resulting fan theories. However, in all fairness, this is hardly Hailey and Justin Bieber’s first time in church. The two describe themselves as devout Christians and have credited their faith with helping them live through the “tough” trials engulfing their marriage.
Some fans may beg to differ though, especially with their perceived turn to the “party lifestyle” in recent times. Regardless, it doesn’t erase the hate and vitriol Hailey has faced since becoming Justin’s wife in 2018. With millions of netizens calling for their divorce at every turn, “tough” is certainly an understatement of the marital trials they’ve endured.
