Justin Bieber‘s Father’s Day post is making everyone scratch their heads. Instead of sharing photos with his son, Jack Blues, on Instagram, the “Sorry” singer issued a warning to those who mess with him and his family. Fans can’t help but wonder what it could mean.
Justin Bieber’s Father’s Day Message Is So Cryptic
The Father’s Day drama started on Sunday, June 15, when Justin Bieber shared a black and white selfie on Instagram. The close-up showed the 31-year-old pop star wearing a hoodie and beanie as he stared at the camera with a straight face. In the corner of the photo was a middle finger emoji. “I’m a dad that’s not to be f*cked with …,” he wrote.
His cryptic Instagram message alarmed many of his followers. They wondered what could have possibly triggered it. “Are you okay, bro?” one fan commented. “Is everything okay?” another person asked.
Could It Be Aimed at the Paparazzi?
One theory is that Justin Bieber was possibly calling out the paparazzi. The singer has had several nasty confrontations with them over the past few months. The most recent incident took place on Thursday, June 12. Bieber was leaving Soho House Malibu in California when he was met with a group of photographers outside. One tried to start a conversation with Bieber by asking him how he was doing. Instead of answering back nicely, Bieber called out the paparazzi for always following him around. “How do you think it’s going with you in my f*cking face? Get out of my f*cking face!” Bieber responded, according to Page Six.
In an attempt to ruin their shots, Justin Bieber hid his face with his arm. However, the paparazzi continued to take pictures of him, as well as film him. Since they were blocking his vehicle, Bieber’s bodyguards told the group to back off. Still, they didn’t listen, which inspired Bieber to go on a long rant about boundaries. He told paparazzi that he’s not someone they want to mess with and they should just leave him alone. Bieber also said they shouldn’t bother trying to talk to him. No matter how much they pester him, he won’t answer any of their questions. When the paparazzi asked why, he said, “We’re not buddies.”
They Touched A Nerve
Things only further escalated when one of the photographers wished Justin Bieber a Happy Father’s Day. “I don’t know you,” he snapped back. “You don’t go to people you don’t know and say sh*t out of nowhere with a camera in their face.”
Considering the incident may still be fresh on Bieber’s mind, it’s possible he wanted to send another warning to paparazzi with his latest Instagram post.
This year marks the first time Justin Bieber is celebrating Father’s Day as a dad himself. He and his wife, Hailey Bieber, welcomed Jack Blues last August. Since their son arrived, Bieber has been very protective of Jack. He doesn’t show the little one’s face online and refuses to answer questions about him from the paparazzi.
