A shocking street fight in Kansas City has gone viral after footage showed a woman attacking both a man and a wheelchair user who attempted to intervene, only for police to detain her while leaving the disabled man sprawled on the pavement.
The one-minute clip, filmed from an apartment window in a seemingly predominantly Black neighborhood, begins with a heated confrontation between a man and a woman. The woman strikes first, throwing blows until a wheelchair-bound bystander rolls into frame, seemingly trying to break things up.
But instead of defusing the fight, the man in the wheelchair becomes another target. As police sirens grow louder in the background, the woman turns on him, shoving him to the ground and toppling his chair.
Police arrive moments later, quickly separating the original pair and placing the woman under arrest. Yet the fallen man is left on the asphalt as officers focus on securing the scene. It isn’t until another member of the public arrives that the wheelchair user is lifted back into his seat.
