Kanye West speaks on Alice Marie Johnson’s claim that Kim Kardashian helped lobby the White House for her freedom. However, the rapper said that the 45th POTUS, Donald Trump, credits him for the same purpose, subtly debunking Alice’s assertion.
In a chat with TMZ, the 67-year-old criminal justice reform advocate stated that she’d still be in locks if Kim K hadn’t intervened. Although she didn’t discredit Ye, she was convinced that Kim made it possible.
According to Alice, Kim used her relationship with Ivanka Trump to make a case for her freedom. She also revealed that the SKIMS founder had several interactions about her case with Jared Kushner, Ivanka’s spouse, and her friend.
As soon as Kim was able to get Jared in on the issue, she was set to meet with Trump in the office of the POTUS for Alice’s case. Deducing from Alice Marie Johnson’s claim, Kanye West may not have done so much about her freedom.
Alice Marie Johnson Isn’t Downplaying Kanye West’s Input on Her Freedom
Alice Marie Johnson disclosed that Kanye West could have played a role in her freedom. However, unlike Kim Kardashian, the rapper didn’t have any interaction with Alice while she was behind bars.

Alice was convinced that Kanye was on her side. She revealed that the father of four cried when they met shortly after her release. But this isn’t the first time Kim is getting the credit for Alice’s freedom.
Donald Trump Tells Alice Johnson to Thank Kim Kardashian For Her Freedom
In June 2018, Donald Trump gave Kim K all the credit for Alice Marie Johnson’s freedom. The former POTUS was in an interview with “FOX & Friends” when he made the disclosure.
Kim K took it upon herself to work on Alice’s freedom even though they were yet to meet each other. Kanye’s claim on the issue is one that needs more clarity.
