Karen Argues With Chick-fil-A Manager Over Unsalted Fries: ‘High Blood Pressure? You May Not Want to Eat at Fast Food Restaurants’

I wonder if it was worth it

I think everyone who has ever eaten at fast food restaurants regularly has witnessed a customer speaking with the manager about the food itself. Sometimes, it’s about a missing order. Other times, it’s about the order itself being completely wrong. What I’ve never personally seen is someone trying to order unsalted fries after being politely told exactly why that order cannot be fulfilled. Fortunately, the Karen trying to order the unsalted fries recorded the whole situation, which was then reposted to Reddit for everyone to see.

Expecting Salt-Less Fries through Fast Food Drive-Thru

The video is from the point of view of a customer inside their car at a Chick-fil-A drive-through. At some point before the start of the recording, she had called over the restaurant’s manager to complain about why she couldn’t receive unsalted fries. Despite her being correct in that some establishments do offer unsalted fries, the manager had kindly explained why that specific restaurant couldn’t. Of course, this angers the customer, who then raises her voice and gets upset with the manager.

What really makes the situation funny is that she mentions one of the reasons for wanted unsalted fries is because of her high blood pressure. In reality, why is she eating at fast food restaurants if she has high blood pressure? While many of the comments criticize the woman for her actions against the manager, others were quick to notice that particular detail.

“High Blood Pressure? You may not want to eat at fast food restaurants.”

Hopefully, the manager of the Chick-fil-A didn’t get in any trouble, especially considering how patient she was with the customer. Ideally, the woman was banned because of her behavior, but nothing likely ended up happening in the end. The next time you go through your local Chick-fil-A drive-through, thank your server before asking for more Polynesian sauce!
