I love it when people record others who are so entitled that they don’t even realize that what they’re doing is blatantly wrong. I don’t love it because I agree with any particular person, but because I can’t believe that anyone would act that way publicly. Think about it; it’s embarrassing. One Amazon driver managed to record the moment he came face to face with a racist Karen after she was told that he couldn’t deliver her package. Fortunately, the whole thing was reposted to Reddit so that everyone could check out and judge the situation.
The video is taken from the point of view of an Amazon delivery driver who is attempting to deliver a package. Unfortunately, due to a security reason, he is unable to, despite having the package in his hands. Of course, this upsets her, and she begins to fly in a massive rage. The Amazon driver decides to them start recording, which is where the video begins, to allow us to see exactly what he has to deal with.
Despite him having the package, the racist Karen didn’t have access to her own Amazon account or, presumably, her email because she was unable to provide the security code required to accept the package. However, it’s pretty clear by the middle of the video that the driver was only recording her because she sounds insane.
“Dude I’m on your side, but why are you even bothering to record and argue with her? She don’t have the password? Bounce. Don’t need to explain yourself. That’s amazon supports job. * edit * I support recording, but honestly 9/10 times this whole altercation can be avoided. This dude knew she was nuts. So that’s why he stuck around to record and egg it on. Not for his safety, but because he caught a unicorn type of person which is always funny I’ll admit.”
I definitely agree with this commenter because after a while, I was a little sick of watching the Amazon driver argue and parade the package around while knowing she can’t have it. However, I also agree that nobody should have eben treated the way he was while at work. I truly hope that he was able to show this video to his managers and was removed from that particular route.
