Being in a hospital is already not a great feeling, and there’s no reason to create a scene in front of people who are already in some sort of pain. Just recently, a Reddit user recorded a Karen yelling at another unprompted in what appears to be the hospital’s waiting room. Fortunately, that same video was still recording when a security officer at the hospital stepped in, putting the woman in her place.
The video was posted to Reddit by user kunaipov and shows a woman in a pink shirt, who we will just call Karen, yelling at another woman who is seen seated. It is unclear what it was that Karen was arguing about, but it’s clear that the tension between the two had gotten to a boiling point. Suddenly a gentleman appears from out of frame, yelling at the Karen.
Karen stays seated as she takes everything that the officer is dishing out to her. By the end of his scolding, he remarks that if she tries to do it again, he will personally kick her out. She must have been intimidated by this because, unlike most other Karens, she doesn’t react.
Commenters noted how the woman immediately submitted to being yelled at. That could only mean that she must know she was in the wrong.
To be fair, the officer was incredibly stern in his warning about kicking her out. Even the moment when he screamed at her to sit down made me feel as though he was talking to me. It seems that other commenters felt the same.
Hopefully, whatever the initial argument was about wasn’t anything of importance. Regardless of what you’re angry about, that’s no way to act inside a hospital.
