Katy Perry had fans wondering if she was comfortable as she made headlines for a dinner date with fiance Orlando Bloom last summer. In July 2023, the pop singer was spotted in London, U.K., where she and the Pirates of the Caribbean actor headed for a bite to eat at The Twenty Two Hotel.
Largely receiving comments on how mismatched she and Orlando looked, Katy had fans discussing her outfit, and for one user, the whole plunging frilly dress and heels weren’t giving off the best vibe. In fact, this fan gained likes for saying they thought that Katy looked “uncomfortable.” Remarks were also left over Katy being all dolled up as Orlando stuck to the most casual outfit imaginable.
Katy Perry Turns Heads In Frilly Dress With Orlando Bloom
Squeezing her curves into a skintight, flamenco-style dress, Katy stuck to a classic shade of black as she made her look flirty and floaty.
Braving a plunging neckline that highlighted her curves, the 39-year-old flaunted the weight loss she was already making headlines for, flashing her slim waist as she let her midi gown feed into a frill hemline. Mixing a mini length at the front with a longer one at the back, Katy jazzed up her already head-turning look with strappy black heels, opting for a pair with criss-cross ties around the ankles.
Meanwhile, Orlando wore dark shorts and a massive windbreaker jacket, plus sneakers and a baseball cap. The loved-up couple looked happy as they were seen smiling, but fans were talking more about the outfits than the romance.
Told She ‘Looks Uncomfortable’
Users got busy commenting as soon as the photos went live. Topping replies was a fan saying:
“Why is she so overly dressed up and he looks like his so overly dressed down. Are they going on dates with different people to different locations. Either he didn’t care or she’s caring way too much.”
A little less positive was the fan saying: “Why is she squeezing herself into that dress? It looks bad. Too much makeup too,” with a third user writing: “I think she looks uncomfortable.” Over 150 users agreed with the comment.
Also on the fence about Katy’s outfit was a fan saying: “Sorry but the dress is awful…. he’s fairly casual, she looks right out of place in that mess.”
Katy has since made headlines for her July-released “Woman’s World” single proving a massive flop. The comeback track comes as part of Katy’s 143 album, due for release next month. Katy has stated that the EP was partly inspired by daughter Daisy, aged 3.
