It’s one thing to have a husband who doesn’t believe in you, but in Kelly Clarkson‘s case, her ex-husband took it to the next level. Not only did Brandom Blackstock, Kelly’s ex-husband, and former talent manager, tell her that she wasn’t sexy enough for the role of The Voice coach, but he also told her that somebody like Rihanna or Blake Shelton would be a much better choice. Several years later, successful singer and songwriter Kelly Clarkson is still broken up over it.

Kelly claims that her ex-husband, Brandon Blackstock, tried to deter her from trying to get a position on The Voice as a coach, given that she just didn’t have enough sex appeal.
