Kelly Ripa showed off her figure and her sense of humor on Instagram last weekend, also showing her knowledge of pop culture. The talk show host, 52, looked the spitting image of actress Sharon Stone as she recreated the iconic interrogations scene from 1992 movie Basic Instinct, and fans loved it.
Posting for her 3 million+ fans, Kelly posed in a tight white minidress while crossing her legs and holding a cigarette, also including other pop culture moments in a trio of images featuring cohost husband Mark Consuelos. Fans have left the blonde over 30,000 likes.
Kelly Ripa Thrills With Instagram Movie Reference
Opening with a Barbie and Ken photo as she and Mark recreated 2023 movie Barbie, Kelly looked pretty in pink as she channeled major Margot Robbie energy. Rocking a blush pink blouse and hologram-effect pink skirt, the TV star posed smiling next to Mark, who gave a nod to Ryan Gosling.
In a swipe right, Kelly posed from a glossed floor and crossing her legs as she sat on a chair while looking exactly like Sharon Stone’s Catherine Tramell character in Basic Instinct. Showing off her toned legs and slender waist, the mom of three wore her blonde hair swept back just like Sharon did, with a pair of stilettos completing the look.
In the movie, Sharon famously uncrosses her legs while being interrogated by the LAPD, and she’s commando.
Looking Exactly Like Sharon Stone
In a caption, Ripa wrote: “A little BTS sneak peek 👀 The countdown is on … 2 days until Live’s After The Oscars!”
“Nailed the basic instinct,” one fan quickly replied. “Slide 2!!” another said, referring the to the Sharon Stone moment. Also loving the post was a follower who told Kelly: “Your sneak peeks are so great! Can’t wait for your show!!”
Kelly and Mark have jointly made headlines for attending the 59th Academy Awards, held last night. Rocking up to the event in a jaw-dropping dress, Kelly stunned on the red carpet as she flaunted her gym-honed figure, of course also looking decades younger than her years.
I come from a generation of people who did not know to protect their skin while you’re young,” Kelly told Glamour of her skincare routine. “Now it’s all about prevention. [My husband] Mark and I laugh because if we’re watching a television program, I always leave about half an hour before it ends. He’ll say, ‘Are you going to start the routine?’ He knows that if we’re going to go to bed at a decent hour, I need an additional 30 minutes to apply everything.”
