Kendall Jenner’s Sheer Street Look Deemed Inappropriate By Instagram

Kendall Jenner didn’t receive the best feedback to her sheer dress as Just Jared shared summer 2023 photos of her showcasing it on Instagram. The supermodel had slipped into her entrepreneur shoes last August, hitting up an L.A. event for her 818 tequila brand and putting on a show-stopping display in a see-through dress.

While sheer looks from Jenner have proven racier in the past, this one did see the reality star rocking undies beneath, but fans were quick to ask her why she’d even bothered wearing clothes. One user even deemed Kendall to be looking “vulgar” as they joined a slew of others giving the outfit the thumbs-down. Kendall founded her tequila brand in 2021.

Enjoying her night out as she was photographed with security and a doorman near her, Kendall showed off her model figure in a caramel-colored dress with a form-fitting finish and a midi length. Flashing her slender waistline as she showed off her curves, the sister to Kylie Jenner drew the eye to a green waistband chopping up the see-through beige fabrics, making sure to stay safe as she donned matching undies beneath her dress.

Looking impeccably classy as she accessorized her dress with white-rimmed matching shoes in beige, Kendall upped her designer game with her miniature, Gucci-monogrammed purse, one also matching her ensemble.

Asked Why She Bothered Wearing Clothes

Fans have been busy commenting. While some adored the Calvin Klein ambassador’s fashion choice, others deemed it in poor taste.

“I will never understand the “sheer” look….like what’s the point,” one fan said as over 20 others agreed. Appearing offended, another user wrote: “Cover up, such a pretty girl, why can’t she wear something that covers her intimate parts for once!!!”

Seemingly asking what the point was, a further fan asked: “Why even go with sheer?” Agreeing, another typed: “So over being able to see her underwear! What is the point of wearing clothes? Just go naked.” Kendall is known for celebrating her femininity, often choosing sheer outfits and pushing the boundaries. The star is, however, regarded to be a style icon, possibly even topping 43-year-old sister Kim Kardashian.

Kendall is followed by 294 million on Instagram. 2024 sees her debuting yet another high-profile deal as she fronts luxury Italian designer Gucci. The brand is known for partnering with stars including pop singer Miley Cyrus.
