Magic Hour will mark Kep1er’s fifth mini-album in their career. After being formed on the reality competition show Girls Planet 999 in 2021, the group dropped their first EP, First Impact, in January 2022. Later that year, they also released their follow-up projects Doublast in June and Troubleshooter in October. Most recently, Kep1er came out with their fourth mini-album, Lovestruck!, on April 10. Now, after five months, the group will return with their Magic Hour mini-album on Sept. 25.
The news comes just days after Kep1er performed in Jakarta, Indonesia on Aug. 26. The group performed in the city as part of the Asian Sound Syndicate festival. They performed six tracks during their set, including their hit singles “WA DA DA” and “Up!”
Earlier this summer, Kep1er also performed across various cities in Japan on their Fly-By tour. The trek began with two back-to-back performances in Tokyo on May 20 and May 21. Kep1er then headed to Aichi for performances on June 2 and June 3. Afterward, the group wrapped up their Japanese tour in Kobe with performances on June 10 and June 11. The tour was in support of Kep1er’s Japanese single album, Fly-Up, which dropped in September 2022.
Kep1er has had an exciting year, to say the least. Now, fans can look forward to hearing new music with the release of their Magic Hour mini-album this fall. Kep1er will likely release more details about their new project very soon.
