Kevin Cosnter seems to be in his feels following his messy divorce from his ex-wife Christine Baumgartner. However, the actor isn’t just feeling sadness. The former Yellowstone star reportedly feels used. After Kevin threw $38 million into his failed Horizon film, he also has to pay a whopping $63,000 to Baumgartner in child support. On top of that, it has also been rumored that Christine is close to getting engaged to Kevin’s one-time close friend, Josh Connor.
According to Life and Style Magazine, Kevin Costner feels like his own money is paying for Christine Baumgartner and Josh Connor’s new life together. Apparently, Kevin feels like “all he was to her was a bank account.”
Kevin Costner Opens Up About His Divorce From Christine Baumgartner
“Kevin feels like he’s been stabbed in the back,” reveals the insider. “Kevin’s craving closure but finding it difficult, especially as he’s hearing how happy Christine is.” (The Oscar winner’s own relationship with singer Jewel was short-lived.)
Costner has been in a downward spiral lately. The actor left the highly successful Yellowstone series after many disagreements with its writer, Taylor Sheridan. Shortly after that, Kevin tried to sneak his way back onto the show for its final season. However, Sheridan was not having it, as Costner will not be making a return for the show’s finale.
Kevin Costner’s passion project was his Horizon film, which follows a group of settlers as they navigate the “Wild West.” However, after sinking millions of dollars of his own money into the film, it ultimately failed. Critics tore the movie apart for its lack of character development and direction.
As for right now, Kevin Costner is not doing well. It seems like his life is falling apart right in front of him. However, with him being the talented actor he is, he may be able to get another role somewhere. It is also possible that he ruined any chance of that with how he handled the Yellowstone situation. Only time will tell if Costner can get back on his feet.
