Kevin Costner is ready to give love another chance but has some ground rules for his next partner. The iconic actor is just coming out of a tumultuous divorce. After 19 years of marriage, Costner and his second wife, Christine Baumgartner, went their separate ways. With the bitter divorce battle now behind him, the Yellowstone actor is ready to get back in the dating market.
In an interview with Fox News, Costner revealed what qualities he wants in a woman. “I had two unique relationships,” the 69-year-old said while reflecting on his two failed marriages. Now, Costner wants someone “who wants to be loved, and they want to be, you know … feel like they’re at their very best. And that love helps that and doesn’t hinder it.” The two-time Oscar winner previously spoke about how he hasn’t stopped believing in the power of love.
“I think everybody would like to be in love. There’s such a good feeling that’s associated with that. It may have to be defined in a different way, but yeah, I love the idea of that possibility.”

The California native explained that although Jewel is “beautiful enough” to date, their relationship is strictly platonic. He recalled their first meeting at Richard Branson’s private island in December 2023, saying they had a good conversation, and that was it.
