It wasn’t that long ago when Microsoft announced that the Arbiter would be joining the ranks of Killer Instinct on the Xbox One. Now it’s being reported by gaming site Shoryuken that another known character will be joining the ranks of the fighting game. General Raam of Gears of War fame will be joining the roster along with an in-universe character named Mira.

For those that don’t know, Mira was introduced in the expanded story for the Xbox One reboot of Killer Instinct. According to the few details uncovered, she sacrificed herself to save her twin sister Maya.

General Raam is the next character that will follow in the footsteps of the Arbiter from the Halo franchise and Rash from Battletoads. Fans of the original Gears of War will instantly recognize the general since he serves as the main antagonist. His addition will certainly be an interesting one.

Shoryuken was able to get a couple of pictures from a follower who also shared them on NeoGAF. Judging by the pictures, Maya is already in a state of completion whereas General Raam currently has no accompanying visuals from the build of the game that the pictures were taken from.

Additional details about season three also show an inclusion of a new Shadow Lords mode. This new mode is called War Room and will probably incorporate some kind of war scenario that players will get participate in.

Killer Instinct Season Three will launch on Xbox One and PC on March 29.
