Kim Kardashian has filed a restraining order against a stalker who has shown a troubling determination to reach her. Court documents revealed that the socialite claimed she found out about the strange man, Melvin Jeffery Conley, through her friend Emma Roberts. The actress had called Kardashian to warn her about a man who broke into her house. Thankfully, Roberts wasn’t home, but Conley let her know he was there. The strange man called her phone on the home landline, but the singer missed the call. Later, Roberts returned the call, thinking it was a family member. However, to her surprise, Conley picked up the call.
Kim Kardashian’s stalker then proceeded to reveal his desire to contact the mom of four and her kids. True to his words, Conley tried to reach Kardashian, showing up at her mom, Kris Jenner’s house in May 2024. When confronted by security, Conley revealed he thought the property was Kardashian’s, adding that he was her longtime manager. The man also noted that he played for the Toronto Raptors and had an appointment with Kardashian. Thankfully, the security knew it was a lie, denying him access, but Conley didn’t give up. In July, he allegedly visited Kardashian’s home in Malibu, where security confronted him at the fence’s perimeter.
According to the filing obtained by TMZ, Conley told the guards he wanted to jump over the fence and into the property. The TV star noted that her stalker’s visit to her Malibu home showed the lengths he would go to reach her and her kids. Now, Kardashian says she is worried, concerned, and going through emotional distress. According to her, details of her Malibu mansion are not available to the public. Hence, Conley finding it makes her fear for her safety. Kim Kardashian hopes to get a restraining order against Conley, just like Roberts, who got a five-year restraining order against the notorious stalker.
