The billionaire mogul confirmed that her full-body MRI scan wasn’t an ad as she took to social media this week. With a $2,499 price tag, though, fans were quick to dub the reality star tone-deaf. Kim Kardashian is worth $1.8 billion, and her Instagram followers are now shading her for showing off the benefits of the Prenuvo device she claims has saved the lives of those close to her.

Hitting pause on promoting her SKIMS brand on Instagram, Kim Kardashian was all smiles as she rocked dark scrubs while posing by the fancy-looking MRI machine.
The mom of four was photographed from a medical facility, also sharing a quick bathroom selfie as fans swiped right.

In a caption, the SKIMS brand owner wrote:
“I recently did this @prenuvo scan and had to tell you all about this life saving machine. The Prenuvo full-body scan has the ability to detect cancer and diseases such as aneurysms in its earliest stages, before symptoms arise. It was like getting a MRI for an hour with no radiation. It has really saved some of my friends lives and I just wanted to share.”
Comments have been flying in. One user told the Hulu star: “Can this test detect common sense? Asking for the billionaire who thought it was appropriate to post this.” Over 900 users liked the comment.
Others, meanwhile, mentioned the rising cost of living. “Kim, this is for wealthy people. People can’t afford food right now,” one user stated. A more sarcastic fan echoed the thought, writing: “Wow thanks so much for sharing something 90 percent of the population can’t afford!”
SKIMS CEO Kim Kardashian did, however, gain approval from reality star Paris Hilton, who follows her on Instagram.
