Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann are giving their marriage another go, filing petitions to call off their divorce. The Real Housewives of Atlanta stars moved for a divorce two months back, citing that their marriage was irretrievably broken, with no hope of reconciliation. Their split after eleven years of marriage came as a shock to many as they, until then, appeared to live in marital bliss with their children. Since then, their post-divorce drama has only gone from bad to worse as they continuously disagreed with the terms of their separation.
Why Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann Called Off the Divorce
The couple has managed to pull off something no one could have anticipated given the brewing ugly drama. On Friday, June 7, 2023, the couple filed to dismiss their respective divorce petitions per court documents. Speaking to TMZ about Kim and Kroy’s decision to call off the divorce, sources revealed that the couple was getting along “really well” for the time being. The source also divulged that the duo was determined to figure out how to make it work for the sake of their four young kids. Thankfully, their love has never wavered, even through the nasty drama plaguing them these past weeks.
The two have been open about their intentions to prioritize their children amid their legal woes. Notably, they share sons Kroy Jr., 11, and Kash, 10, as well as 9-year-old twins Kaia and Kane. Additionally, they are also parents to Kim’s oldest daughters Brielle and Ariana, who Kroy adopted following their marriage.
The Couple Shared a Home Post-Divorce
Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann continued living together with their kids long after filing for divorce. Through the proceedings, the TV personalities hauled allegations against each other, each explicitly painting why the other was bad for the kids. While Kim accused her husband of smoking weed and risking the kids’ safety, Kroy highlighted Kim’s gambling issues among other allegations.
In fact, several outsiders also weighed in on the couple’s issues, noting that infidelity and financial woes may have contributed to their split. Despite their best efforts to call each other out as a terrible parent, the two surprisingly put their differences aside last week to accompany their children to church. TMZ shared photos from the family outing, leading many to point out how great they were as a family. It appears that marked a new beginning for Kim Zolciak and Kroy Biermann, who have now made the ultimate move to give their love a second chance.
