Kroy Biermann Determined to Divorce Kim
Kroy Biermann’s legal team sang a different tune during a recent interview with TMZ. They set the record straight about where the estranged couple stood in the divorce, saying Kroy Biermann had no plans of pulling out. Asked if the 37-year-old would withdraw his second divorce filing, Kroy’s attorney, Marlys A. Bergstrom divulged,
“No, at this time, he is still moving forward with the divorce action.”
The pair first filed separate divorce petitions in May, describing their marriage as irretrievably broken with no hope of reconciliation. In a surprising twist, the co-parents decided to withdraw their respective petitions in July 2023, resolving to work on their marriage.
Their decision to give their love a second chance appears to have backfired. Kroy Biermann filed for divorce from Kim Zolciak a second time last week, barely a month after their reconciliation. Insiders revealed that the pair have been at loggerheads for a while, with their heated arguments continuing even after calling off the divorce. Their incessant fights forced Kroy to take the tough road once again. However, Kim Zolciak has yet to respond with her own divorce filing.
Kim’s Take on the Split
In fact, by the looks, Kim has no intention of doing that just yet. The mother of six has been spotted out and about still brandishing her wedding band. According to TMZ, Kim Zolciak even sounded optimistic on Monday during a chat about Kroy Biermann’s second divorce filing at LAX airport. Asked if there was a chance of her reconciling with Kroy, her daughter, Brielle cut in, pointing out to the reporter that her mom still had her wedding ring on.
Throughout the encounter, Kim remained coy, sipping a smoothie with an unreadable smile on her face. She also admitted she did not feel blindsided after Kroy served her the papers at their home, as she knew he filed beforehand. The recent revelations from Kroys’s legal team suggest otherwise, making the divorce proceedings appear more complicated in the public eye. With Kim hopeful and Kroy resolute, a middle ground doesn’t seem forthcoming, especially with Brielle and their other kids in the middle of it all sharing their mom’s optimism.
