The Super Bowl was one of the most significant events of this decade for myriad reasons. However, it meant something completely different to service and retail employees across the country: terrible customers and awful experiences. Fortunately, that’s the exact opposite of what happened with one Nashville, Tennessee, waitress at Buffalo Wild Wings.
While the event was going on, the restaurant was packed with patrons hoping to grab a meal at their favorite place while watching the game. One waitress was reportedly so welcoming and amazing throughout the chaos that her table decided to give her a gift worth far more than a meal.
The video above was posted to the TikTok account @reagynharr, which typically posts about random things, including her everyday life. This video wasn’t too different, but it is now her most-watched. In it, you can see several people inside what appears to be a Target store purchasing a 65-inch television.
On the video itself is a caption that reads, “pov: your waitress at b dubs was so amazing on super bowl sunday that you surprised her with a TV.” The scene shifts to the group carrying the television outside Target, then arriving at a Buffalo Wild Wings.
The group confirms that their waitress on Sunday was inside before asking her to come outside because they had a gift for her. She was already in tears before walking outside, but they really started to flow when she saw what her customers had done for her. Working an event that large while employed at a restaurant is no easy feat, and I can only imagine the service she must have given if people considered getting her a TV.
Nashville Waitress Gifted TV By Happy Super Bowl Sunday Customers
The comments were immediately filled with words of kindness, with the most-liked comment from Buffalo Wild Wings itself: “Now you got me crying 🥹.” Many people were simply taken aback by the kindness, while a few others shared their own similar stories, with another commenter saying, “a regular at my old job helped me pay for my cats hospital bill😭😭😭.”
This act of kindness shows that people in the service industry deserve the respect of those they serve. Sometimes, that kindness can come back in unexpected ways, and now, this waitress can enjoy the next Super Bowl on the TV her guests bought her.
