It’s been almost two years since King Charles’s cancer diagnosis, and now the monarch has finally come forward to publicly fill everyone in on how he’s doing. In a YouTube video titled “A special message from The King for Stand Up To Cancer 🧡,” Charles details the “good news” that he has hit a new milestone in his ongoing treatment: “My own schedule of cancer treatment can be reduced in the New Year.”
King Charles stated that his improving health condition is no small thanks to his early diagnosis and effective intervention, along with carefully adhering to what his doctor has been instructing him to do. Unfortunately, many patients are diagnosed too late in their stages of cancer, making treatment much less effective to the point that permanent damage has already been done, reducing their life span significantly. To help prevent this, King Charles encourages UK citizens to visit Stand Up To Cancer, a website where people can see if they’re eligible for screening.
Based on this announcement, it would seem King Charles is doing better and sees hope that he’ll continue to improve, having scaled back his treatment. While plenty are pleased with this good news for the monarch, many others are pointing out how Prince Harry’s comments about his father earlier this year evidently hold no weight. In other words, as one Redditor’s post puts it: “Harry knows nothing.” Another user adds, “That throws cold water over Harry’s recent statement saying he didn’t know how long Charles had…..” They are referring to how two months ago, Harry was strongly implying that Charles was not doing well.
King Charles Proves Harry Is a ‘Lying Exaggerator’

To recap, Harry didn’t outright say that King Charles was dying, but it was fairly clear to the internet what he was getting at. Not to mention, it was reported he was supposed to not say anything about his private meeting with his father, yet he spilled the beans in the most subtle way possible. The “beans spillage,” though, turned out to actually be a nothing burger, with King Charles actually doing much better than his ex-royal son implied.
“Harry is such a pathetic man,” remarks a critic. “He is just as much of a lying exaggerator as his wife. They’re such a joke! He really thought he was going to milk his father “dying”… Disgusting…” In the end, though, the focus should be on celebrating King Charles’ improving health and not Harry’s disingenuous remarks. Fortunately, many found the news from the King himself to be most pleasing, on top of the helpful message about the importance of getting screened early.
