New rumors claim that Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 has been banned from Saudi Arabia because the game includes unskippable LGBTQ scenes. Again, these are all just rumors, and nothing has been confirmed by the game’s developers or publishers. So far, the information comes from another news outlet and not an official source. Also, the game is close to launch, so if anything of the sort happened, we would already know about it. For now, neither Warhorse Studios nor Deep Silver has said anything about it, so take this with a grain of salt.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 Banned in Saudia Arabia For Including Unskippable LGBTQ Content
The news comes from VGA4A’s X account, with a message that translates as follows:
If this is true, it means Saudi Arabia players won’t be able to play Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 at all, but again, it hasn’t been confirmed.
From what we know, KCD 2 is rated M and does include warnings about many things, including partial nudity and sexual content. Since the game hasn’t launched yet and the previews didn’t mention anything about the abovementioned scenes, it is hard to say if they are included or not. Yet, we know that the original KCD had a few sex scenes that were entirely optional. There is even an achievement if you manage to beat the game while keeping Henry a virgin.
Whether KCD 2 has content like this or not remains to be seen, but given what we saw from its predecessor, it is highly likely it does have a few scenes like this. Then again, we’ll have to wait for the game’s official release.
For now, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is the talk of the town as it seems to already be surpassing Baldur’s Gate 3 in certain aspects. Hopefully, it will be a great sequel because many players have been eagerly waiting for Henry’s triumphant return.
