Indie developer Good Morning Games will be a part of this Steam Festival’s Going Rogue event with their first title, Knight Crawlers. A dungeon crawler/roguelite action game, Knight Crawlers sticks players into the world of the Lost Realms. From there, chaos ensues as ragdoll physics clash with awesome combat. While there is no release date, roguelite enthusiasts can expect this title to drop sometime later this year. Try out the Knight Crawlers demo now through its Steam page!
Fight or Crawl Your Way to Victory in Knight Crawlers from Good Morning Games
As players progress their way through the Lost Realms, they’ll continuously encounter a variety of familiar roguelike mechanics – but with a twist. Knight Crawlers fashions itself as a dungeon crawling experience with ragdoll combat. It’s on perfect display with the game’s official trailer that you can see here. In the middle of all the dummy-like action, the footage shares glimpses of how the other features work. These include your array of enemies, skill cards, customization options, and players fighting side-by-side.
Furthermore, Crawlers will be able to craft weapons of both the melee and ranged sorts. Every run in Knight Crawlers is more unique than the last; keeping up with an updated arsenal of weapons and skills will come a long way.
Knight Crawlers is the debut title from indie husband-and-wife studio Good Morning Games. Its publishing is being handled by The Iterative Collective (The Signal State). The game will be a part of the Going Rogue Steam Festival, a showcase of all roguelike games that are set to launch in the near future. This “Festival of Persistence” will run from May 2 to May 9. Be sure to visit Steam’s homepage right now to get into all the action this week for the event.
