Anyone who’s been keeping up with the Kardashians will know that the A-List family is full of drama queens. And one of the current stories they have the internet and tabloids hooked on is the alleged feud between Kim Kardashian and Kris Jenner vs. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry. It all began when the two ex-royals were spotted at Jenner’s big birthday celebration. Photos were featured on Kim’s and Kris’s Instagram accounts before being promptly deleted. Now, Kris Jenner has pulled another quick one on the internet by reposting Meghan’s Instagram posts before removing them.
The Instagram reposts in question, according to a Reddit post on r/RoyaltyTea, were Meghan Markle’s Harper’s Bazaar cover photo and the trailer for her Netflix Christmas special. The poster was gleefully remarking how this was proof of Kris Jenner “quashing tabloid created drama about a feud.” Little did they know what would happen in the following 24 hours. It wasn’t just a day later before a user on r/SaintMeghanMarkle pointed out that Kris had removed the reposts.
The Kardashians Are Just ‘Messing with Meghan’s Head’
For those confused, this is all apparently intentional, according to online users, at least. “The Kardashians love playing games and winding people up. It’s all good for their socials and show,” explains one Reddit commenter. “Kris remains a monetised drama creating troll,” exclaimed a critic. In other words, many users collectively agree that Kris Jenner is just farming easy publicity by using the alleged drama between her and the Sussexes. Some commenters theorize that, instead, this is actually all just a ploy and that the “Kardashians [are] messing with Mehgan’s head.”
The rabbit hole goes even deeper, with podcaster Heather McDonald making theoretical claims that the Kardashians “don’t even like Meghan Markle” and that the Sussexes were more or less “party crashers” at Jenner’s birthday celebration, per the Daily Express. The stories and theories keep shifting. First, we were told to believe that Harry and Meghan opted out of taking photos with a consent form. Then, it was revealed that no form ever existed, sending the internet into more bewilderment.
In the end, a rational theory would be what many Redditors agree on: the Kardashians are just seeking attention from this Meghan Markle drama, and the stirrup is working. Within just several days, stories about this photo and repost removal are popping up like wildfire. Still, in the end, it’s all theories, and oftentimes, nothing is actually said from the sources themselves, aka the Kardashians or Meghan. But they will surely enjoy the free publicity while it lasts, positive or not.
