Kristin Cavallari ditched the glam minidresses for a sporty look as she reminded her Instagram followers that even busy mothers deserve a little “me” time back in December 2022. Posing from her luxurious Tennessee mansion, the former MTV star showed off her fit figure and her casual sense of style in a kitchen photo as she enjoyed a glass of wine, although with plenty on the stove, it looked like she was multitasking.
Delighting her fans as she showed a chill side, Kristin also braved a makeup-free look, something she mentioned in her caption as fans left her over 140,000 likes.

Sending her fans a smiling pout as she highlighted her gym-honed frame, Kristin posed backed by a stove and using one arm to stir a large white pot on it. Using her other hand to hold a glass of red wine, the Uncommon James founder rocked a strappy, white crop top worn braless, with a gray pair of leggings keeping the look sporty.
Completing her outfit via socks and sneakers as she appeared to blow her fans a kiss, Kristin referenced her three children in a caption, writing: “Home, leggings, no makeup, kids running around, red wine and cooking = happiness.”
Admitting She’s Happier When Heavier
Kristin had returned for a similar shot in a swipe right, this time smiling and cocking her head to the side and she continued her cooking.
While Kristin opted out of any tags, fans were likely loving the cooking vibe, particularly since Kristin has authored several cookbooks. In 2018, she released her True Roots: A Mindful Kitchen book, with 2023 bringing her Truly Simple book, one offering 140 healthy recipes.
One year prior to releasing her Truly Simple book, Kristin made headlines for revealing that she’d gained weight and was, in fact, happier when heavier. Bravely sharing old photos of her much skinnier self next to a swimwear shot that was recent, Kristin told fans that she barely recognized her old self.
“I’ve put on a lot of weight in the last few years, but in a good way,” Cavallari also revealed to Us Weekly. “My goal is sort of, right now, just to maintain the muscle that I have. I’m not trying to lose weight.”
Of her figure, the podcast host added: “I’m really petite. I have no hips. I’m just small. And so if I don’t work out for like a week or two, I feel like all my muscle goes away.”
