According to reports, Frances Cobain and Riley Hawk exchanged wedding vows earlier in October. Besides having legends as fathers, the love birds also had another icon officiating their wedding ceremony. The revelation comes as great news to Frances’s fans, considering what the visual artist passed through following her divorce from her first husband, Isaiah Silva.

It is official! Frances Cobain and Riley Hawk are married! The pair began dating in 2021, but it wasn’t until January 1, 2022, that the model went public with her relationship. After taking a year-long break from the social media platform, she confirmed her romance with Riley via an Instagram post. Frances shared a carousel of pictures, showing things that brought her great joy over the previous year. The montage included a couple of shots of the professional skateboarder. Following the revelation, the duo kept their romance low-key, with fans not even knowing when they got engaged.
However, TMZ confirmed that Kurt Cobain and Tony Hawk’s kids are husband and wife. According to the report, the pair obtained a marriage license in September in San Diego County and got hitched on October 7. The outlet also revealed that former R.E.M frontman Michael Stipe performed the wedding ceremony.
Inside Frances and Isaiah Silva’s Failed Marriage
Frances’s marriage to Riley isn’t the first time the artist is tying the knot. The 31-year-old was married to musician Isaiah Silva. The pair exchanged marital vows in 2014 in a private ceremony but lasted only two years before calling it quits. What followed the 2016 divorce was a nasty custody battle over the iconic Martin D-18E guitar the late Kurt used during one of his appearances on MTV: Unplugged. Silva claimed Frances gave him the instrument as a wedding gift, while Frances maintained she never meant to give him the guitar. After the divorce settlement, Silva ended up with possession of the instrument. Frances has since moved on from the incident and hopes to stay happy with Riley forever.
