Travis Kelce didn’t immediately introduce Taylor Swift to his sister-in-law, Kylie Kelce. During the latest episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, the Pennsylvania native and wife of Jason Kelce revealed she met Swift months after she had already begun dating Travis. Since it took a while for them to get together, speculation arose that the two women were avoiding each other. However, Kylie says that couldn’t be further from the truth.

As it turns out, Taylor Swift and Kylie Kelce couldn’t meet sooner due to the pop star’s “busy” schedule. That makes sense considering Swift was in the middle of her Eras Tour when she and Travis first started dating during the summer of 2023. She kicked off her tour in March 2023 and only just wrapped it up in December 2024. Throughout her run, Swift performed 149 concerts in various cities around the world. Although she frequently met up with Travis in Kansas City, Jason and Kylie Kelce living in Pennsylvania made it hard for them to meet her.
The mother of three told host Alex Cooper that she was never “avoiding anyone,” which is why the rumors between her and Swift made no sense. Regardless, Kylie said she didn’t understand why people cared so much. She remembered fans were “deeply disturbed” that it took her months to get introduced to Swift. “There was, like, all this stuff leading up to it about, ‘Well, why haven’t they met? They’re avoiding each other,'” she said.
Looking back at it now, Kylie Kelce finds the rumors amusing since there was never any drama. “It is just so silly to me that that was the story that was written,” she said.
She finds it especially funny since it took even longer for her to meet Travis Kelce. However, fans never made it a big deal like they did with Swift. “I kept saying to people that I didn’t meet Travis for probably close to a year when Jason and I were dating,” she said.
So, When Did She Meet Taylor Swift?
Kylie confirmed her first meeting with Swift happened at the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Buffalo Bills in January 2024. Of course, the two women have met several more times since then.
In June 2024, Jason and Kylie Kelce attended Swift’s Eras Tour at Wembley Stadium in London. That October, the couple also took their oldest daughters Wyatt and Elliotte to see the pop star perform in Miami. Jason’s mother, Donna Kelce, also attended the show.
It seems Jason and Kylie also caught up with Swift during the holidays last year. According to People, the pair, along with their daughters, took a trip to Nashville to spend Thanksgiving with Travis and Swift. “It was very festive and special,” a source told the publication.
Most recently, the couple reunited with the singer for the 2025 Super Bowl, during which the Philadelphia Eagles won against the Kansas City Chiefs.
