Lady Gaga might be walking down the aisle soon. After months of speculation that the pop singer and her longtime boyfriend, Michael Polansky, have taken their relationship to the next level, Gaga finally confirmed that he popped the big question.
Days after her internet-breaking performance at the opening ceremony of the Paris 2024 Olympics, Gaga referred to Polansky as her “fiance.” In a video that has since gone viral, the Bad Romance songstress, while introducing the businessman to France’s Prime Minister Gabriel Attal, said, “This is my fiancé, Michael.” The French politician was congratulating Gaga on her phenomenal performance when the introduction happened.
Recall that the 13-time Grammy winner had all eyes on her when she gave a stellar rendition of Zizi Jeanmaire’s Mon Truc En Plumes on Friday. For her act, Gaga stunned in a black Dior Haute Couture ensemble while surrounded by pink feathers from her backup dancers. Following her performance, she gave an emotional speech on social media about her “special connection” to the country.
It comes as no surprise that the singer referred to Polansky as her fiancé. Back in April, Gaga was spotted rocking a giant diamond ring while running errands in California, per page Six. The huge rock peeked out from an oversized black coat, but Gaga never addressed the engagement rumors at the time.
A Look At Lady Gaga & Michael Polansky’s Relationship
The lovebirds have been together for more than four years since their first public sighting in 2019. Fans first met Polansky when he marked New Year’s Eve with Gaga at a Las Vegas party. The following month, paparazzi photographed the pair smooching away on the balcony of a hotel in Miami. Gaga was in the city for a show.
In February 2020, the couple became Instagram official. The House of Gucci star shared a heartwarming photo of herself sitting on Polansky’s lap with the caption, “We had so much fun in Miami. Love to all my little monsters and fans—you’re the best!” The duo reportedly quarantined together during the COVID-19 pandemic, with a source confirming that it helped strengthen their relationship.
Although Gaga and Polansky mostly keep a low profile, the Harvard graduate has always been present by her side during her big moments. He even supported her during her performance at Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ inauguration ceremony. They already seem like a match made in heaven. Congratulations to the couple!
