The political climate in the United States has been horrible, to say the least. From a citizen’s perspective, it seems that people all over the country are fearing for their lives for various reasons. One of the most focused reasons as of late has been because of citizenship, or rather, lack of citizenship. A Florida woman took to TikTok to discuss her own husband’s deportation, asking for help from the community who follow her. However, a closer look at all her previously posted videos shows that in reality, she got exactly what she had voted for.

A Lakeland, Florida, woman named Faith Ann, better known on TikTok as @fromel2, recently posted a video of herself crying over her husband’s deportation. She goes on to speak on the dangers of the country he is being deported to. However, despite her pleas to be heard and ensure that her children have a father who can come home to them, further investigation proves that this is exactly what she wanted. Well, not exactly.

While inspecting Faith Ann’s liked TikToks, there are various videos directed at being a Republican and voting for Donald Trump. Things don’t stop there, as one of the videos is even directed at trans women in sports and using the restroom, showing what she really thinks. Fortunately, the above video details those likes because Ann has already disabled users from being able to see them. Commenters were quick to call her out in the replies of the above video, with one person even saying, “Why is she crying? She got EXACTLY what she wanted, I’m so confused. Not confused enough to care though.“

The videos that she posts herself are primarily focused on her children and faith while living in Florida, citing Jesus as her savior. Unfortunately, this particular personality has become synonymous with people who agree with Donald Trump’s motives.

If you head to Faith Ann’s TikTok page, the comments on her most recent videos are all from viewers who discovered her because of the above video. It’s safe to say that the next time she opens up the app, she will be bombarded with notifications. Hopefully, she will use this as a teachable moment to better understand the realities of what immigrants go through and that, no matter your skin color, you too deserve to be safe. While on the topic, I also hope that any and all issues concerning her husband are resolved in a humane manner.
