Larsa Pippen appears to have received so much backlash for her now-deleted Instagram beach snap, that she’s chosen to pretend that it never existed. The reality star, 49, turned heads shortly before the weekend, sharing a rather suggestive image of herself enjoying a beach-set lounger, but for fans, it was all too much.
While Larsa has removed the swimwear-clad image of herself from her Instagram, users on X (formerly Twitter) have saved screenshots, complete with a documented record of some of the comments. The former best friend to Kim Kardashian has, however, opened up on why she deleted her post.
Larsa Pippen Deletes Provocative Instagram Photo
The photo showed Larsa flaunting her fabulous figure in a skimpy black two-piece as she somewhat spread her legs and relaxed on the shorefront.
Showing off her toned waistline and gym-honed legs, the mom of four also flashed her curves via her stylish swimwear. Larsa completed her look with glam shades as she told fans that “sunshine” was on her “mind.”
Fans Deem The Image ‘Offensive’
Backlash didn’t take long as Larsa’s fans both criticized the suggestive pose and alleged that she’s had plastic surgery. The Bravo star was told to “close them legs” by one fan, with another saying: “We KNOW what your body actually looks like, and it’s plastic crap, but go on sis!”
Also frowning on the photo was a fan who told the jewelry designer to “be a role model.” Larsa shares four children with former NBA player ex-husband, Scottie Pippen. The X user who shared the old photo reminded fans that the image had, apparently, caused “[offense.]”
Larsa has spoken out. “My dad sent me a text yesterday and said, ‘You published a photo and I think you need to take it down,’ ” she shared, adding: “And when my dad texts me stuff like that, I listen!”
Continuing as she spoke to People, the Chicago native stated: “I think my dad got wind of all the stuff that was being put out there. My family’s really traditional and old-school — I’m the one that’s always pushing the envelope with them, you know? So when he texted me that, I just deleted it.”
Larsa, meanwhile, continues to make headlines for her ongoing romance with basketball player boyfriend Marcus Jordan, 33. Marcus is 16 years younger than Larsa, however the age gap doesn’t seem to be bothering either of them. Together, the couple hosts their own Separation Anxiety podcast.
