Earlier this week, we covered the major The Last of Us 2 leak. This leaked revealed some key moments within the game regarding the fates of some new and old characters. Since then, Naughty Dog and Sony have announced the official release date. On June 19th, The Last of Us 2 will be available to play on the PlayStation 4. The Last of Us fans will finally have the opportunity to play the highly anticipated sequel. Despite the major leak, many fans are eagerly awaiting the post-apocalyptic adventure. Now that The Last of Us 2‘s release date has been formally announced, the preorder listing is once again available.
With the preorder listing once again being available on the PlayStation 4, the Last of Us 2‘s file size has been revealed. If I were to say to you that the upcoming game’s file size is bigger than the Final Fantasy 7 Remake, what would you say? With the listing now active, we can see that The Last of Us 2 requires a minimum of 100 GBs. The physical copy of the game will be split between two discs.
In the listing, Naughty Dog warns of possible medical issues. The official listing states:
Warning: if you have a history of epilepsy or seizure, consult a doctor before use, certain patterns may trigger seizures with no prior history. Before using and for more details see instructions for the product or contact SIE Consumer Services at 1-800-345-7669.
Based on this warning, either there will be some heavy gunfight scenes or some flashing lights. Based on what was leaked earlier this week, the Last of Us 2 will be a wild ride. If the Last of Us 2 file size is anything to go by, the game should be at least forty hours long.
